Lenovo ThinkPad X60s Review

Lenovo ThinkPad X60s

Good Points worth buying:
  1. Extremely portable design
  2. Well designed keyboard. Comfortable for typing.
  3. Fingerprint reader. Good for authentication
  4. Excellent performance as expected
  5. Incredibly long battery life when configured with high-capacity battery (Up to Max of 6 to 7 hours).

Bad Points not worth buying:

  1. More expensive than comparable models considering the specifications
  2. Lacks built-in optical drive. Does have a external DVD-drive
  3. Lacks built-in support for ExpressCards.

The first ultraportable to accommodate Intel's Core Duo 2 processor, the ThinkPad X60s combines blazing performance and incredible battery life with a full feature set and a compact case.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X60s is definitely a must have for working personnel who require mobility. X60 is very light weight and small in size. Very suitable for ladies to use. Ideal size to carry around and will definitely capture the attention of everyone with its small and sleek design. The laptop is equipped with the most durable material and hence is resistant to scratches. Its battery life is definitely unrivaled, delivering long lasting battery life span. Just imagine all your friends laptops are all shutting down due to exhausted battery, your X60 may have only exhausted less than half of its battery life! Both thumbs up for X60!!

Sony VAIO Notebook/Laptop Reviews

I have posted my reviews on Sony VAIO series of notebooks. More reviews will come in the net few days. Hope that these reviews will help people who wanted to seek other people comment before buying a laptop. Thanks!

Sony VAIO VGN-TXN15P/W Laptop Review

Sony VAIO VGN-TXN15P/W Laptop Notebook

Good points worth buying:

  1. Extremely portable design. Small and nice. Suitable for people who need high portability.
  2. Bright screen and long lasting battery life.
  3. Connections: Built-in cellular, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
  4. Integrated double-layer DVD burner and instant-on player
  5. Comfortable keyboard design.

Bad points not worth buying:

  1. Too expensive. Not value for money.
  2. Basic port selection.
  3. Warranty extensions are expensive.

One of the best ultraportables on the market today, the well-designed Sony VAIO VGN-TXN15P/W provides business users with a thorough feature set and record-breaking battery life.

I have read the other reviews online and found that most of the other users that have used Sony VAIO laptop agree that this is a great laptop to buy. However, this is a very expensive buy if you are just just this for normal use. Highly recommended for working personnel who require portability.

Sony Vaio VGN-FS660/W Laptop Review

Sony Vaio VGN-FS660/W Laptop

This is a disappointing product released by Sony ever!

Heard from a friend that it offered an adequate array of features but not enough performance to justify its super high price! We strong recommend that this is not worth the price at all!

Listed below are the NOT WORTH BUYING points:

  1. The battery life is horrible! It can only lasts for about 1.5 hour configured with the highest battery saving option (Lowest Screen Brightness etc.) while using only internet (no heavy applications) !!! Many other users of Sony Vaio VGN-FS660/W laptop have also made complaints about the short battery life of this laptop. Seems like there is no solution to the short battery life.
  2. The maximum RAM which can be installed is only up to 1GB. So if you intend to have a more powerful system, just too bad !!!
  3. The Intel 2200BG Wireless Card which comes with this laptop and also other laptops such as DELL, have a major problem of a "Lost connection" where you get disconnected every 1 minute for a 10-30 seconds. This is irritating!! You can search for this problem on GOOGLE and see that lots of people have this unresolved issue !!! Sony support was unable to solve this issue, and Intel and Sony is blaming each other for this. I managed somehow to solve this problem after 3 Days, non-stop sitting with the laptop.

Conclusion: Paying a very high price for a Sony Vaio VGN-FS660/W Laptop but we don't
get what we expected out of such a highly priced laptop. Disappointing!

Sony VAIO SZ Laptop Notebook

Sony VAIO SZ Laptop Notebook

Good points worth buying:
  1. Bright, high-quality display
  2. Good performance.
  3. Sleek, durable carbon-fiber case
  4. Large, comfortable keyboard
  5. Integrated Webcam and microphone

Bad Points not worth buying:

  1. Very very expensive consider the specification
  2. Lacking multi-format card reader that is easily found on other competitive models.
  3. Substandard speakers.
The Sony VAIO SZ manages to be eminently portable without sacrificing a readable screen or a usable keyboard, and it incorporates all of the features and components, and most of the connections, that business users need.

Another sleek design product from Sony. However, if you are looking for functionality and feature packed machine, this is not for you. Sony VAIO SZ does not have a very lasting battery life that is required by many people and it is definitely not worth the money if you are comparing the features with other brands.
